ABCs of Safe Sleep
Make sure baby sleeps alone, on their back and in a bare crib.
Baby should sleep alone. Room sharing can be okay, but bed sharing can put baby at risk of suffocation.
Always place baby to sleep on their back on a firm mattress covered only with a tight-fitting crib sheet.
Baby will be safest in a bare crib or bassinet, without loose blankets, bumpers or pillows. Consider wearable blankets, like a sleep sack, to keep baby warm.
